West Coast Alt Country

Tryin' is Better than Cryin'

Shake hands with Chuck Peligroso, an emerging alt country musician hailing from the West Coast. Armed with his guitar and soulful voice, Chuck blends personal experiences into his music, creating a sound that's both genuine and relatable. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings, and "Weird" Al Yankovic, Chuck infuses traditional country sounds with a contemporary flair.

Raised on the Eastside of Podunk, California, is where he discovered his first pair of barn stompers and a six-string at the age of 12. Spending countless hours writing and practicing, and after dropping out of high school, he moved to Timbuktu to pursue his dream of becoming a honkey-tonk bootlegger. Circuiting small venues and honing his axe, Chuck caught the attention of a local record label, which signed him right up!

Straight outta the smoky neon haze, Chuck has released two critically acclaimed albums, with his latest project garnering praise from top publications like Stoned Roller and Holy Crap. His music resonates with the struggles and triumphs of everyday life, and his live performances are not to be missed by any alt country cut-rug. With a bright future ahead, Chuck Peligroso is poised to become one of the West Coast's most promising new artists.
